No matter what society says…
…“Hard work” does NOT always pay off.
In fact,
It can be the demise of most men.
⇨ They can put in 12-hour days at the office
⇨ Be on glued to their phones trying to put out a fire or close a deal during “family movie” night
⇨ Miss their kids games and events
⇨ Eat like shit and put working out on the back-burner
⇨ Pop pills and guzzle energy drinks in the morning to get “up” – then pound booze, hit the weed or pop pills in the evening to come “down” at night.
They can even do it all in the name of trying to set themselves up for an early retirement…buying their dream home… taking their family on vacations… and ensuring their kids can go to college.
They can even be following the whole “work hard now so I can play harder later” mentality.
But that doesn’t mean any of that shit is going to happen JUST BECAUSE THEY PUT IN THE WORK.
The reality is this,
Most men put in all that work…
…yet all they have to show for it is a business in turbulence, kids who barely acknowledge them when they walk in the house and a wife who would rather scroll through Pinterest and keep up with the Kardashian’s than give them the time of day.
See,
The deciding factor that determines the type of results you DO or DON’T get, typically has very little to do with your effort.
Most entrepreneurs don’t have a problem “working hard”.
The problem lies in WHAT they’re working hard ON – and with what TOOLS.
Think of it like this,
Growing a business is like trying to build a big ass house in the middle of a heavily wooded forest.
At first there’s not much room,
So you build what you can, with the little space and material you have.
No matter how small it is or whatever you used to string it all together – you’re proud of that shit because you poured every ounce of your time, energy and capacity to get it built.
But eventually you see bigger and better opportunities to expand the house…
…which means some trees need to get cut down.
Now,
Maybe those “trees” represent expanding your team…investing in more sophisticated marketing strategies and technology…joining masterminds…hiring a coach or attending certain EVENTS
Whatever it is,
The point I want you to consider is this…
…you can’t expand faster than you can cut down the trees standing in your way.
And “hard work” isn’t going to be the deciding factor in how fast and far you can clear the forest and expand your business.
It comes down to the tools you’re using.
If you all you grabbed was hammer and a 24 oz Red Bull – god knows you’ll be busting your ass…but you won’t get very far.
Neither will your business…
…and your health, wife and children will pay for it.
Whereas,
If you get your hands on a chainsaw and you put in ¾ of the same effort as you would’ve with the hammer…
…you’d be able to expand your business and profits much quicker and still have time and energy to be the man, husband and father you and your family need you to be.
Again,
It’s NOT an effort problem, Brother.
If you’re Reading this email I think it’s fair to assume you’re not afraid of “breaking a nail” or working hard.
The problem simply comes down to the tools and strategies you’re using for your…
👉 Personal Productivity and Daily Routines
👉 Lead Generation Systems
👉 Sales Systems
👉 Tracking Systems
👉 Retention and Referral Systems
Etc.
And until you stop using “hammers” to cut those tree’s down…
…you’re going to continue being stuck with fluctuating bank accounts, “big ideas” that are just collecting dust and a business growing at a snail’s pace.
It comes down to a simple choice, Brother…
…continue hacking away with the hammer – or just grab the chainsaw.
CHOOSE Wisely.
